No message left. I didn't recognize the number.

I received several calls from these guys.. When I called back to find out what these guys wanted, I was told that I had an old credit card bill that I never paid. When I looked into it, it turns out that they were right (oops!). I was able to settle my account for half the amount owing.

Keep calling and threatening me. That a police officer will be at my house tomorrow at 6pm to arrest me. Told them to quit calling and they won't

Robo debt collector. Problem is when you pick up, after 5 seconds the computer hangs up. Probably set up more to torment than to get any action. I bet this debt collection agency has to show they are attempting to collect the debt. Once they know the debt holder can't pay, they will robo call them to show the primary debt holder that they are still working on that debt client.

I live in trinidad the west indies and they are calling me. The caller said he have an important question to ask me before we proceed..."Do you want to live in the USA?". I said "NO", I have a ten year visa and i can go anytime I feel like it. The caller was shocked as he didn't have a response for me, he was like oh so u have a visa and i said thanks for calling and hang up the phone.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MS TURNER, SHE WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFFESSIONAL FROM THIS COMPANY CTI. IN CONTRAST TO THE LIST OF COMPLAINTS FROM THE OTHER PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM, SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND HELPED ME PAY MY DEBT OFF FOR MY SEARS CARD. MAYBE U GUYS JUST GOT A BUNCH OF LOSERS CALLING U AND I LUCKED UP AND RAN ACROSS A REALLY PROFESSIONAL AND ARTICULATE YOUNG LADY.

Firstly, if your telephone number is unlisted it won't protect you against anyone dialing your number and ringing your phone.An unlisted number is NOT an automatically "unavailable: number. Secondly, if your telephone service provider has a feature which allows you to "block" numbers that you know are annoying why not use it? In New York, Verizon offers just such a service. It's called Call Intercept and you can enter up to 25 "annoyance call" numbers. They CANNOT get through to annoy you! If you cannot get this service then just pickup the phone when it rings with this telephone number and hang it up immediately!That's about all you can do!
